- It runs a public-source audit of one company domain and returns a headline read plus the top findings on how that company is currently represented, with the number of sources behind it. It is a point-in-time snapshot, not monitoring.
- Do I need an account?
- No. No signup, no email, no API key. The check is capped per visitor and site-wide each day so the tool stays available, and it tells you plainly when a cap has been reached.
- What does the paid product add?
- Continuous monitoring rather than a one-off snapshot: tracked rivals, cited Dossiers with an evidence trail behind every finding, alerts when something actually changes, and recommended moves. The free check answers 'where do I stand today'; the product answers 'what changed and what should I do'.
- Can I check a person?
- No. This checks companies and domains only, and that is enforced on the server rather than in the form.
- Why does it take a couple of minutes?
- It researches live public sources rather than reading a cached profile. Repeat checks on the same domain return straight away from cache while the result is fresh.
