Terms of Service

By creating an account or using dozier.io or the Dozier workspace, you agree to these terms. If you're using Dozier on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

Dozier is operated as a sole proprietorship, founded 2026 in New York, by Brian.

Dozier is a continuous competitive-intelligence platform built around four engines: Sweep researches a rival from public sources and traces every finding to its source; Dossier is the resulting report; Moves ranks the resulting actions worth taking; Radar keeps watching your rivals after the initial Sweep and flags material changes.

Dozier draws only from public sources — competitor websites, pricing and product pages, public filings, news, and similar. We don't collect or resell person-level or private contact data as part of the service.

You need an account, authenticated via Clerk, to use Dozier. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

Use Dozier only for lawful, legitimate competitive-research purposes. Don't use the service to harass, stalk, or gather private information about an individual; to violate a third party's terms of service or applicable law; to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service; or to resell or white-label Dozier's output as your own product without our agreement.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section.

Dozier is metered in credits: each Sweep costs credits, and your plan grants a recurring monthly allowance. Additional credit packs can be purchased on top of a plan. Current plans, prices, and allowances are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or as selected at checkout) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Dozier to charge your payment method for the plan and any credit packs you purchase.

Unused monthly credits do not roll over unless stated otherwise on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your workspace billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't provide partial-period refunds except where required by law or stated otherwise at checkout.

We may suspend or close accounts that are inactive, in violation of these terms, or delinquent on payment, with notice where practicable.

Every finding in a Dossier or Move is traced to the public source it came from so you can verify it yourself — that citation is the point of the product. But Dozier does not independently verify, and makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of, third-party information cited in a Sweep, Dossier, Move, or Radar alert. Public sources can be wrong, outdated, or changed after we read them.

You're responsible for verifying any finding before relying on it for a business, legal, or financial decision. Dozier is a research tool, not a substitute for professional advice.

Except as expressly stated in these terms, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular rival, market, or finding will be covered.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dozier will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service. Dozier's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date; continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
